Wally Wallington claims that he could have build the Great Pyramids with a relatively small crew on a 25 year schedule using his techniques. He claims that his intuition led him to find ways to move immense objects all on his own, and he refers to his techniques as a "lever fallen through the cracks of time". Watching Wally's proof of concepts are stunning in both their powerful potential as well as their utter simplicity. Shortly after discovering the technique, he moved his son's 10 ton barn using his techniques. He demonstrates how he believes the Stonehenge was likely built.
Wally is featured in video on the Discovery Channel website. You can see his techniques and information at his own website.

Google Maps API, Google Earth, Investigation
Google Maps API
Google Earth - WorldWind handles much more gracefully (and is open source), but the raw navigation power of Google Earth beats anything I've seen yet.
My first lightweight proof of concept of D&C on Google Maps: prototype
There is a lot of tinkering going on: transparency overlay (nice slider control), yahoo maps API news overlay, google some more...
